Modern communication environments are increasingly multi-agency and multi-protocol. A single shared site may host police on P25, transit security on TETRA, facility management on DMR, and commercial cellular on LTE—all operating within the VHF spectrum. Deploying separate coverage systems for each protocol is prohibitively expensive and operationally complex. Our Multi-Protocol VHF Optical DAS solves this by providing a single, unified signal distribution layer that transparently handles all major professional and cellular protocols within the 136-174MHz band.

Unlike protocol-specific repeaters that decode and re-encode signals, our system operates as a transparent RF pipe. The wideband linear amplifier and protocol-agnostic RF-to-optical conversion faithfully reproduce the original waveform regardless of modulation scheme, channel bandwidth, or protocol. This means the same DAS infrastructure supports TETRA's π/4 DQPSK, P25's C4FM, DMR's 4FSK, and LTE's OFDM simultaneously without reconfiguration.
