Product Description
TDOA Passive Geolocation System
TDOA Passive Geolocation System deployment showing sensor nodes and control interface
The TDOA Passive Geolocation System is a passive geolocation device for low-altitude targets based on Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) technology. Utilizing a multi-node acoustic/RF sensor array, the system captures signals emitted or acoustic waves generated by low-altitude targets—primarily UAVs—and calculates target coordinates with high precision by measuring the time differences in signal arrival across different sensor nodes. This enables passive detection, geolocation, and trajectory tracking of "low, slow, and small" (LSS) targets. The system requires no active signal transmission, offering core advantages including strong stealth capability, zero electromagnetic interference (EMI), and high positioning accuracy. It can be deployed independently or seamlessly integrated into broader low-altitude defense architectures, providing precise target location cuing for countermeasure systems. Widely deployed in sensitive facilities, airport clearance zones, border outposts, major event venues, and other critical areas, the system fills the passive geolocation gap in low-altitude defense and completes the low-altitude security situational awareness framework.
Core Product Features
Passive Geolocation with Exceptional Stealth
  • Employs TDOA passive geolocation architecture
  • Passively receives target signals only (UAV remote control signals, rotor acoustic signatures, etc.)
  • Transmits no active RF or detection signals of any kind
  • Zero electromagnetic radiation; inherently difficult to detect
  • Ideally suited for covert security operations in sensitive and classified zones
High-Precision Localization with Controlled Error Margins
  • Leverages multi-node sensor arrays combined with high-precision time synchronization technology
  • High geolocation accuracy with planar positioning error ≤5 meters
  • Precisely locks onto target coordinates and flight trajectories
  • Provides accurate data support for follow-on countermeasure deployment
  • Eliminates guesswork and avoids indiscriminate defense responses
Simultaneous Multi-Target Geolocation with High Efficiency
  • Simultaneously captures and geolocates multiple low-altitude targets
  • Rapidly performs multi-target coordinate calculation, trajectory tracking, and classification
  • Well-suited for UAV swarm incursion scenarios
  • Addresses both single-target and multi-target defense requirements
Superior Anti-Jamming Resilience with Broad Environmental Adaptability
  • Supports dual-mode geolocation: acoustic and RF
  • Outstanding immunity to electromagnetic interference and ambient noise
  • Unaffected by day/night cycles, rain, fog, haze, or other weather conditions
  • Stable operation in complex outdoor environments
Flexible Deployment with Strong Scalability
  • Distributed node-based architecture
  • Sensor nodes can be flexibly positioned and deployed
  • Supports both fixed installation and temporary deployment configurations
  • Node count can be easily scaled up or down based on coverage requirements
  • Adaptable to geolocation needs across varying scales of protected zones
Zero EMI with Full Compliance and Safety
  • Purely passive operating mode
  • Transmits no interfering signals of any kind
  • Does not affect surrounding civilian communication, navigation systems, or electronic equipment
  • Fully compliant with national radio management regulations and standards
  • Operationally safe and worry-free
Coordinated Interoperability for Closed-Loop Defense
  • Seamless integration with low-altitude countermeasure systems, security monitoring platforms, and defense management systems
  • Rapidly feeds back coordinate information upon target localization
  • Triggers automated countermeasure workflows
  • Enables full closed-loop process: Geolocation → Alerting → Countermeasures
User-Friendly Operation with Simplified Maintenance
  • Equipped with a visual command-and-control interface
  • Real-time display of target geolocation information, trajectory plots, and device operational status
  • Supports remote O&M (Operations & Maintenance) and parameter adjustment
  • No specialized technical training required
  • Low lifecycle maintenance costs
Industrial-Grade Quality for Stability and Reliability
  • Sensor nodes rated to IP65 ingress protection (or higher)
  • Waterproof, dustproof, shock-resistant, and extreme-temperature tolerant
  • Stable operation across -40°C to +60°C
  • Supports 7×24 uninterrupted duty cycles
