The X-Band Active Phased-Array Radar is an all-solid-state, fully-coherent, all-digital active electronically scanned array (AESA) three-dimensional (3D) radar. Primarily designed for search and tracking of low-altitude, slow-speed, small targets—including general aviation aircraft and UAVs—within low-altitude airspace, the system outputs real-time target range, azimuth, elevation, and velocity data, generating a three-dimensional motion picture of low-altitude targets. This provides effective information support for low-altitude airspace management and interdiction/engagement systems. The radar features high mission reliability and fully automatic target acquisition capability, enabling effective surveillance of non-cooperative and high-threat targets within critical protected zones.
