Therefore, we adopt our One-Take-One system to solve the eight 30-floor elevators signal problem (28 ground floors, and 2 basement floors). As for three low-floor elevators (2 8-floor elevators and 1 5-floor elevators ), single-device system is adopted.
High-Floor elevators One-Take-One system: even if the building is high to 30 floors (the length of elevator is over 100 meters), the remote unit has dynamic AGC mode to meet the demands of signal coverage in elevator box, in 28-floor or -2 floor.
Low-floor elevators: as the length of the elevator shaft is fewer than 30 meters, an high gain elevator antenna could meet the demands of signal cover in such a space, and it’s easy to penetrate signal into the elevators box.
Device: GSM900 + 1800Mhz (front 45Mhz) dual band booster. This frequency combo matches the low-frequency calling and high-frequency calling signal of China Mobile, and no matter how signal provider upgrades their base station, it won’t affect the clients’ use. Besides, the 1800Mhz (front 45Mhz) is also compatible to the upgrading 4G data signal of China Mobile, it means our solutions would also offer the coverage of 4G data signal (which is not included in the demands of client.), and clients would have a great 4G VOLTE calling experience.
Installation and Construction
There are two high-floor elevators in one building, and they share one equipment room.
The outdoor LPDA antenna could be installed on the outer wall of elevator equipment room, and face to outer open surroundings, then the antenna could receive good signal sources of GSM900Mhz and 1800Mhz.
Device installation in equipment room: boosters are mounted on the wall, and the cable could get through the pipes or cable tray of equipment room to wire.
Elevator antenna installation: the wiring must meet the installation requirements of the the elevator equipment engineering company.

To ensure the best signal coverage, please adjust the output power of two main units (boosters in equipment room) to max 17dbm, adjust the gain as high as possible (no lower than 50dBm), decrease the gain compression and output compression .
On screen, S1 is GSM900Mhz, and S2 is 1800MHz. In the pictures above, the output power of 900MHz and 1800Mhz are both full 17dBm, and gain are 55dBm and 63dBm, both of them won’t have much gain compression. The working status and output power have a best performance.
After debugging, walk around in elevator box to test the signal. When mobile is standby, signal strength is -52dBm and -63dBm, full bar.
When the elevator is working, have a calling signal test: signal strength is between -72 to - 79dBm, full bar signal, and fluent calling experience.
Just as the situation is considered in the was considered at the beginning of the solution, 4G data signal also would be strengthened in elevator box. Signal strength is -88dbm, and network speed is 16M/S for DL, 4M/S for UL, which could totally meet the 4G network demands in elevator box.
For a solution with single signal provide-China Mobile, considering the long-term use, GSM900MHz/1800MHz (front 45MHz) are best frequency combo to amplify calling signal. If client’s demands are calling + data, we have to consider more factors, like the upgrade / adjustment of signal provider, and multi-frequency combo are best. The frequency combo of GSM900+DCS1800+TDD1900/TDD2300/TDD2600 (self-adaptive) is requested to meet the current and future needs of signal use.
One-Take-One syytem for high-floor elevator, it’s easy to debug, and install, which is the best choice for a elevator solution.
