FM002 Youth Hostel and FM148 Youth Hostel belong to the same chain of condominiums company. It’s located in Heshuikou Village, Matian Street, Guangming New District, Shenzhen, and are typical houses in a urban village.
The signal strength on the streets is very good, but because the distance between the building and the building is too close, the signal cannot penetrate well indoors. The phone is offline in the corridors and rooms from 1st floor to 5th floor.
Narrow alleys, close houses, and internally sealed decoration structures, no matter how good the signal status outside the street, enters the interior, it has become a state of offline. In addition to the top 6th floor, which can barely have a mobile phone signal, the 1-5th floor has become a disconnected state from the world.
1． Signal Source Survey
The signal on the top of the building is actually very good, and the 6th floor of the youth hostel does not need to be covered by signals, but 1st floor to 5th floor. The roof has a wide view, and the base station antenna of the operator can be seen not far from the roof.

From the above data, it can be seen that the signal source of the three major operators on the roof of the youth hostel are all very good. Taking the source on the top of the building and covering the signal room separately, you can solve the signals problem on the 1-5th floor.
2.1 Device frequency combo as below
China Mobile calling + internet: 900Mhz + 2600Mhz
China Unicom calling + internet: 2100Mhz + 1800Mhz
China Telecom calling + internet: 800Mhz + 1800Mhz
Therefore, at least a 5-band booster would be selected to meet the demands: 800+900+1800+2100+2600Mhz
2.2 Indoor antenna distribution
Based on client’s requirements and the layout, 4 indoor antennas would be distributed in 1st floor, and 7 indoor antennas on each of 2nd to 5th floor. 32 antennas in total, evenly distributed in the aisle.
Considering that the antenna signal in the aisle needs to cover the room through the wall , the signal strength at the end of each antenna is not fewer than + 5dB. Therefore, two high-power booster with output 27dbm, gain 80dbi would be used. Topology pictures are as follows,

Due to the preliminary survey and communication of the entire project in place, the project implementation was very smooth and rapid.
The five frequencies could reach full output power. After plugging in , the entire apartment has achieved full Netcom mobile phone signal coverage, and each room and corner can achieve a good Internet and call experience.
From the output value on the screen, the output power of five frequencies all reach a full +27dbm, which could entirely meet the demands.
